Kuwait temporary data and text restrictions

Effective March 9, 2026: All roaming services (voice, data and text) are unavailable in Kuwait.

If you travel to Kuwait, your T-Mobile device will not connect to roaming partner networks for calls, texts, or data.

This applies to all plans and international roaming features.

Russia temporary data and text restrictions

A 24-hour service restriction is applied to data and texting for all roaming subscribers connecting to any Russian network. During this time, connect to Wi-Fi for data usage. Voice services are not impacted.

The restriction begins automatically when subscribers first register on a Russian network and remains in place for 24 hours.

Disclaimer: As of November 2025, access to SMS after 24 hours should be available. Access to data is inconsistent. After the 24-hour period, services resume as normal.

The statement “Services will resume as normal” no longer applies as of November 2025.

If there is no activity from the device for three consecutive days after the restriction is removed, it is re-applied until activity occurs. Once activity resumes, the next 24-hour restriction starts.
